Regular Public Swimming Schedule
We are back to our regular public swimming schedule this week!
We have been so overwhelmed with swimmers that we have taken this opportunity to schedule additional lifeguards on select days to meet higher capacity needs. Check the July and August calendars below for the life buoy symbol indicating days when we have additional capacity.
Please note that the Birch River Pool will close for the 2026 season on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Swimming Lessons
July Swimming Lessons
Dates: July 13–17
Registration Deadline: July 10
Lesson Fee: $50.00
Requirement: Children must hold either a Family or Single Season Pass.
August Swimming Lessons
Dates: August 10–14
Registration Deadline: August 7
Lesson Fee: $50.00 or $25.00 for Mom-Tot Lesson
Requirement: Children must hold either a Family or Single Season Pass.
Registration Requirements
- Children must be registered for lessons before the applicable deadline.
- Swimming lessons must be paid in full before the registration deadline.
- All children registered for swimming lessons must hold either a Family or Single Season Pass.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do children need a season pass for swimming lessons?
Yes. All children registered for swimming lessons must hold either a Family or Single Season Pass.
What does a season pass include?
Season passes allow members of your household to attend public swimming throughout the summer season while public swimming is available.
A Family Season Pass includes two adults and up to four children from the same household. Additional children may be added where necessary.
Can I rent the pool for a party?
Yes. Private rentals are available subject to scheduling and lifeguard availability.
- Payment secures your rental. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Bookings are first come, first served. Rentals are reserved in the order payment is received.
- Interest does not hold a date. A date and time will only be reserved once full payment has been received.
